[en] The traditional input-output analysis is a relatively poor instrument to measure the phenomena of interdependence among sectors. These phenomena are expressed in circuits which can be better analysed thanks to the structural approach introduced by R. Lantner and J. Gazon, and based on the concept of the transmission of economic influence. Within the framework of this approach, particularly the concepts of structural circularity and feed-back, we have tried to develop appropriate measures of the interdependence among sectors (circuits of length greater than one) and also of their sufficiency as it is expressed in a special kind of circuits, i.e. these of length one.
