Abstract :	[en] In this document the reader will find a discussion about the European Inter-regional Strategy as well as the importance of the Free Trade Agreement EU-ACN in the Latin-American integration. It’s a qualitative observation in which we contrast the ACN reality with the theory of regional integration. As a result, we have found that the mechanism has failed in stimulating Latin-American regional integration. We can conclude that it is due to some defects at the origins of the mechanism.
