Abstract :	[en] Sarcoidosis is a systemic disease of unknown aetiology characterised by the formation of non caseating epithelioid cell granuloma, which can occur in virtually any organ. The involvement of the heart is an important prognostic factor in sarcoidosis. Early treatment prevents irreversible damage of the heart and seems to be associated with better prognosis.
