題目：生成しつつあるコモンズとしての農業‐生きがいと市民性の概念をめぐる日本・ベルギーの事例に関する比較社会学的分析の試み 要約：危機にさらされるポスト産業社会における農業と農業の果たす機能について、我々はどう認識すれば良いのだろうか？普遍的とされる市場の価値基準はそのために十分でありうるのか？多面的機能の概念をめぐっては、社会的・文化的機能は主観的・地域的・歴史的要素を多く含むためにその定量的評価は難しいとされる(日本学術会議、2001)。そこでは、農業と社会に関する静態的な定義の仕方そのものが問われていると考える。本発表では、高齢化を背景に立ち上げられた豊田市の生きがい型農業支援事業（農ライフ創生センター）と、若年者の雇用問題を背景に立ち上げられたラ・ルヴィエール市(ベルギー) の産直有機農園事業（労働研修企業デルサム農園）を取り上げる。そこで、都市の福祉事業としての農業の活用プロセスと、その効果の評価基準をめぐる一つの社会学的分析枠組を提示する。本研究を通じて、農業と現代社会の関係を動態的に捉える一視座を提供できれば幸いである。
