Abstract :
[en] The vacuum UV photoabsorption spectrum of CH3Cl and CD3Cl have been measured between 6 and 12 eV photon energy. The photoionization efficiency curve of CH3+ provided by dissociative photoionization of CH3Cl is reported. The attention is focussed on the ion-pair CH3+/Cl- formation.
