Abstract :
[en] The present review deals with obesity in the dog, Definition, incidence, assessment, etiology and detrimental effects of obesity are firstly presented. In a second part, the treatment is discussed, with particular emphasis on the incorporation of large quantities of dietary fibres in low-energy specific purpose food. At present time, no conclusions can be drawn from published studies
