[en] This contribution presents an analysis of the novel Lo que está en mi corazón (2001), written by the Chilean author Marcela Serrano. After presenting the story and the feminine themes in it, we analyse the images of the indigenous population in Chiapas. This theme allows us to link the portrayal of the feminine characters to the literary construction of the Zapatista Army of National Liberation
