Abstract :	[en] It is the first time that oxindole alkaloids are found in a Strychnos species. Strychnofoline and isostrychnofoline (C30H34N402) as well as strychnophylline and isostrychnophylline (C35H43N5O2) are new bis-indole alkaloids: the elucidation of structure and their stereochemistry are also discussed; UV, IR, NMR, MS and CD data are provided.
