| [en] The radial velocity of the magnetic star HD 10783 is shown (fig.2) to vary with the period of the luminosity and magnetic variations. The plot of the magnetic field intensity as a function of the phase (fig.1) gives an asymmetrical curve, which, except for the sign, resembles the luminosity curve, as in other periodic magnetic variables; but the coincidence of the phases remains doubtful. The velocity varies much more rapidly just before the sharper extremum of the magnetic field. | |
