Abstract :
[en] The present paper reviews recent results obtained by different molecular biology-based, immunocytological approaches to the localization and identification of nucleic acids in sections of biological material. Examples of sensitive, high-resolution detection methods for RNA, DNA or specialized DNA regions are presented. Special emphasis is placed on the potential values and limitations of these new methods.
