Abstract :	[en] Accurately predicting the flow induced by the collapse of embankment dams remains challenging, as a consequence of the level of uncertainty affecting the prediction of breach width and formation time. Moreover, very few systematic analyses are available today concerning the sensitivity of the flow with respect to those uncertainties. The present theoretical analysis quantifies the influence of variations in the breach parameters on the peak outflow.
