Abstract :
[en] Leo Van Broeck of the architecture office Bogdan & Van Broeck is the new Flemish Government Architect since early September. A + probed its policy for the next four years, and then in particular his view of what a productive city can be. We have banned the industry out of the city for decades. Now we note that a healthy and balanced mix of functions is an important condition for a functioning urban cohesion. The manufacturing industry certainly has its place in the city and can have a positive impact both on an urban and an ecological level.
