Abstract :
[en] Although the Hispanic American self-fiction contributes, with the European self-fiction, to a common intellectual and artistic atmosphere, “the immediate historic motivations are different”, says Alberca, without further explanation. This study tries to explore these differences, reading a recent Hispanic American self-fiction in context, Los topos by Felix Bruzzone, which, like some European self- fictions, seems to question the apprehension and the representation in literature of a reality that is difficult to capture in words.
