Abstract :
[en] Two complete procedures, in duality, to take stranded inductors into account in magnetic vector potential 3D finite element formulations, in magnetostatics and in magnetodynamics, are developed. They are discussed and compared to other methods already developed. It is shown that the accuracy of determination of circuit relations associated with inductors depends on the consistency between considered weak and strong forms during the whole process.
