[en] The approach of ethno-ethology appears as a key-tool to overcome the duality of the concepts of nature and culture in the study of local knowledge. We offer reflections about human-gorilla relationships, the diversity and encounter of different modes of knowledge in a context of great apes scientific conservation in a tropical Cameroonian forest
