Abstract :

[en] A 7 1/2-year old Golden retriever presented for recurrent pericardial effusion with signs of right-sided heart failure. Pericardial fenestration was performed. Idiopathic pericardial effusion was diagnosed, which carries a favourable prognosis after surgery.
