Abstract :
[en] A simple model of fluid invasion, freezing, and thawing in a porous medium was developed using an "invasion percolation-like" approach. The fluid freezing process is considered as destroying the internal structure of the porous medium. The evolution of the pore size distribution after several invasionfrostthaw events is investigated numerically. Those results and qualitatively consistent with experimental measurements on fiberreinforced cements.
