Abstract :
[en] Imidazolinium salts were prepd. via microwave-assisted cyclocondensation of ethanediamines with triethoxy alkanes or triethoxymethyl benzene. The synthesized imidazolinium salts may be used as NHC precursors or ionic liqs.
