Abstract :
[en] This thesis addresses the dynamic modelling of automotive driveline components by means of the nonlinear finite element method for flexible multibody systems. Starting from a detailed study of an industrial application, the TORSEN differential, several contributions are proposed in the field of contact modelling. The contact between rigid bodies in several geometric configurations is investigated and the influence of the squeeze film of lubricating oil is studied. A contact formulation between flexible bodies modelled as superelements is also developed and applied to the modelling of 3D flexible gear pairs.
