Abstract :
[en] While the political participation of African born again christian has been leading to important research, few interest has been provided to the political participation of African evangelical immigrants. The ethos churches are calling to suggests however the existence of political expressions. Exemplarity (Lorentzen et Rosalina, 2005), « usefull immigration » (Mossière, 2006), combativity and social mobility (Demart, 2008), « virtuous citizenship » (Fumanti, 2010), etc. is the religious empowerment (Ter Haar, 1998 ; Harris, 2006 ; Adogame, 2007) translatable to political discourse, activity or alliance ? From research lead for ten years within Congolese circles in Belgium, I bring to light this issue looking at the political participation of Congolese born again from religious, associative and political lens.
