Abstract :
[en] Microlensing is a powerful technique which can be used to study the continuum and the broad
line emitting regions in distant AGNs. After a brief description of the methods and required
data, we present recent applications of this technique. We show that microlensing allows one to
measure the temperature profile of the accretion disc, estimate the size and study the geometry of
the region emitting the broad emission lines.
