Abstract :
[en] Psychiatric complications are clearly associated with substance abuse. Psychopathological symptoms appear during intoxication or in patients suffering from substance-induced psychiatric disorders. However, the assessment of the psychiatric symptomatology is particularly challenging in patients who express clear difficulties to accept that the disorder is favoured by substance abuse. Psychotic reactions, major depression and anxiety disorders are the main psychiatric issues observed in addict patients.
