Abstract :
[en] Sinus lift is a valuable procedure allowing implant placement in the posterior maxilla when residual bone height is insufficient. The procedure is nowadays less traumatic with the introduction of biomaterials and the development of new surgical protocols. The objective of this lecture is explain the biological concept of sub-antral bone augmentation and to describe the surgical technique according to certain biological principles. Choice of biomaterial, indications, alternatives as well as complications will be envisaged.
