| [en] We have chosen to focus in this paper the concept of fate in Rome, and
this, especially through the cult of the goddess Fortuna. Indeed, it has two significant innovations compared to other deities of the Roman pantheon, since on the one hand, it completely changed in nature over the centuries, and, on the other hand, when this gradual change, Goddess Latial it is in its origins, it becomes a goddess Roman itself.
