[en] When confronted to data from European social Survey, there seems to be no link between the acceptance of immigration by public opinion in a sample of western Europe countries and the presence of extreme right parties in those countries. This contradicts various political analysis and some other data. The paper states this possible discrepancy and tries to find explanations
