Victimes d'abus sexuels et trajectoires délinquantes: exploration des tuteurs de résilience

This study is concerning the resilience related a juvenile delinquency among victims of sexual abuse: sexual abuse has been recognized as a powerful risk factor for the emergence of deviant and criminal.behavior. Our study aims is to explore and highlight the protective factors that prevents victims of sexual abuse to engage in delinquent trajectory. The sample consists of teenage girls who have revealed at minimum last year, their intergenerational abuse position. These girls, are all between 12 and 18 years old,and divided into sub-groups: victims not offenders and victims offenders (self revealed and judicial control). Each teenage victims is compared to a normative population on different psychological’s functioning dimensions (aggression, self-esteem and pubertal timing). A comparative analysis between victims and not offenders is conducted to determine the elements that have a protective role. Clinical tests also are performed and linked to data from comparative analysis. The main factors of resilience (compared to a juvenile delinquency commitment) highlights concern the individual, the family system and the natural environment.
