[en] Poly-ε-caprolactone end-capped by a pyrrole moiety has been synthesized and successfully copolymerized with pyrrole with formation of new brush copolymers. Copolymerization has been achieved by electrochemical and chemical techniques. Formation of copolymer has been confirmed by various methods including XPS, DSC, TGA, and SEM. The effect of the PCL branches on conductivity, morphology and stability of PPy has been studied.
