Abstract :	[en] This presentation is talking about the typology and the evolution of different techniques to build roofs wooden frames in Europe from the 11th century to the industrial Revolution. Some regional aspects such as the type of wood, the lifting process, are described inside this typo chronology established with the help of dendrochronology and international exchanges during a European project "Culture 2000" from 2007 to 2009.
