[en] The tourism can hold a decisional role in the development of an area that does not have access to remarkable economic resources and has the capacity to contribute decisively to the exploitation of specific natural and antropic resources (mineral water, sediment, proper areals for sport or recreative activities, etc.) wich atract the touristic fluxes and lead to the apparition and development of the locality as a trousitic resort. In this context, the work aims to highlight the contribution and impact of the touristic activities to the socio-économic development of the Vatrea Dornei area
