Abstract :
[en] For some years the waste management sector of IDELUX has become aware of its liabilities as far as environment is concerned and is consenting many efforts to reduce the impact of its activities on environment. In this way, since 2001, they have progressively implemented an environmental management system according to the ISO 14001 norm on their different sites. The obligation, according to the operating permit of the new Tenneville technical landfill center of getting "EMAS" registration in june 2008 latest, is an opportunity for IDELUX of setting this system in its place for the whole waste management sector.
Present work comes within the scope of a contribution to this approach for Tenneville site. After we have updated the environmental review and brought up to date the environmental policy the general and the specific objectives have been reviewed as well as the action plans. For this work we mainly concentrated on internal and external communications via consciousness-raising of personnel to EMAS approach and the writing of the environmental statement for Tenneville site. In order to monitor the evolution of the environmental performances new indicators have been developped.
Lastly the amendments to bring to the general and operational procedures have been classified and a proposal concerning the making and the updating of the environmental statement has been written within the context of this end of study work. [fr] Depuis quelques années, le secteur assainissement de l’intercommunale IDELUX a pris conscience de ses responsabilités en matière d’environnement et consent de nombreux efforts afin de diminuer l’impact de ses activités sur l’environnement. Ainsi, depuis 2001, un système de management environnemental selon la norme ISO 14001 a progressivement été implanté sur les différents sites. L’obligation, selon le permis d’exploiter pour le nouveau centre d’enfouissement technique de Tenneville, d’obtenir l’enregistrement « EMAS » au plus tard en juin 2008 est l’occasion pour IDELUX de mettre en place ce système pour tout le secteur assainissement.
Le présent travail s’inscrit dans le cadre d’une contribution à cette démarche pour le site de Tenneville. Après une mise à jour des analyses environnementales et l’actualisation de la politique environnementale, les objectifs généraux, objectifs spécifiques et plans d’actions ont été revus. L’accent de ce travail a surtout été mis sur les communications interne et externe, et ce via la sensibilisation du personnel à la démarche EMAS et la rédaction de la déclaration environnementale pour le site de Tenneville. Afin de suivre l’évolution des performances environnementales, des indicateurs ont été mis au point.
Enfin, les amendements à apporter aux procédures générales et opérationnelles ont été répertoriés et une proposition de procédure concernant l’élaboration et la mise à jour de la déclaration environnementale a été rédigée dans le cadre de ce travail de fin d’études.
