Abstract :

[en] The chapter defines the life-cycle of construction products with a focus on steel products. Particularly, it explains how to take into account the recycling in the life-cycle analysis. It underlines the differences between open-loop materials and closed-loop materials. Examples of the calculation of impacts are also given for indefinitely recyclable materials.
