In the literary papyri, the presence of a final, initial, or noted on a label title, not only identifies certainly the contents by giving the ancient name of the work, but is often also, with other codicologic peculiarities, the indication of a copy of library. Do the 22 Hippocratic papyri present an indication of this kind? The author tries to answer these questions by examining not only Hippocratic papyri, but also several adespota where are quoted some titles of Hippocratic treatises, sometimes accompanied with the name of their author.
