[more ▼] The work of Lycophron, Alexandra, is still in part misunderstood by specialists and remains a wide subject of study. This short note aims to bring a new interpretation of the verses 61-63 by a precise philological analysis of the Greek text. It shows how Lycophron introduces the two main elements of a myth (Paris and Oenone) in the same extract with an ambiguity of Greek language. So, this note tries modestly to improve our understanding of such a complicated work.
